This Privacy Policy describes how BeamTech ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you download and use the BeamTech software ("the Software"). BeamTech is operated from the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States.

By using the Software, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described here, do not use the Software.

2. Information We Collect

When you launch and use BeamTech, the Software automatically collects the following identifiers:

• Hardware ID (HWID) - A unique identifier generated from your device hardware, used to bind your license to your machine.
• Discord ID - Your Discord user ID, collected during the verification process through our Discord server to link your account to a valid license.
• Minecraft UUID - The unique identifier associated with your Minecraft account, used to validate that the Software is being used on an authorized Minecraft account.

We do not collect passwords, payment details, personal names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other personally identifiable information beyond what is listed above.

3. How We Use This Information

The data listed above is collected exclusively for the following purposes:

• License verification - To confirm that a user has a valid, authorized copy of the Software and to prevent unauthorized distribution.
• Anti-cracking protection - To detect and block unauthorized or cracked versions of the Software from functioning.
• Account integrity - To ensure each license is used only by the intended user and to prevent account sharing or license theft.

We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose beyond authentication and security as described above.

4. Data Storage and Security

All collected identifiers are stored securely on BeamTech's servers. We apply industry-standard security measures to protect stored data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Access to this data is strictly limited to BeamTech's core development team and is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties.

Your data is retained for as long as you hold an active license with BeamTech. If you request deletion of your data, your identifiers will be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations to retain records.

5. Third-Party Services

BeamTech uses Discord as part of its verification process. When you link your Discord account during onboarding, your Discord ID is stored as described above. BeamTech does not receive or store any other Discord account information. You should review Discord's own Privacy Policy for information on how Discord handles your data.

BeamTech does not integrate with any advertising networks, analytics platforms, or third-party data brokers.

6. Children's Privacy

The Software is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13 years of age. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete that data promptly.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to the data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, or to request deletion of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact BeamTech through our official Discord server once it becomes available.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the Software after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
